At the Burleson Firm, preparation for trial is considered fundamental. Whether the case is a divorce involving issues such as child custody and property settlement or a DUI case involving issues like probable cause to arrest and blood alcohol level, the firm plans your trial strategy from day one. The opposing counsel will always know that we have no fear of trial if they refuse to offer a viable settlement option. Frequently, this approach often increases the likelihood of a favorable settlement and avoids the necessity of trial. However, in the cases in which agreement is not possible, you will never feel pressured to settle because of lack of preparation or a sense that your attorney is intimidated by the opposing counsel or the prospect of trial.
